deciding to part with the waves was a big decision on my part, but i did it anyhow and i honestly can't tell you yet if it was the right thing to do.
the last time i stood there it was cold and the wind like coarse metal cut my skin.
i stood there anyway against it and collected rocks from the sand.
romantiscized by the thought of it i am still wondering. Was it far? should i have gone furthur? over the horizon maybe but the water was cold.
and now in the heat i keep thinking circles of it. How long can i hold my breath for...

The other time I took a tent, water and some freeze dried food and camped in the desert in the middle of the summer. I would sit in the tent and watch the whole world revolve around me, see a roadrunner, a breeze moving a tumbleweed, or plane in the sky, no one to bother me and no one to talk to. i stayed there for 2 days, and when i left i felt better about the world and a little dehyrated.
