crispy is amazing. He sent me The Magnetic Fields "69 Love Songs" and I got it today in the mail!!! Everyone needs to go to his journal and shower him with accolades for making me squeal with such delight!! Also, he sent me New Jersey stickers. What New Jersey stickers were doing in a Pennsylvania rest stop we'll never know.
I am dreading my upcoming birthday. Being 25 works just fine for me, I don't need to be 26. The other day I noticed fine lines on my face. I am looking up plastic surgeons as we speak...no. not really. Though sometimes I wish I could afford a boob job. Only if it was done by Squeak's doctor though. Her boobs look fantastic!
I had a few photo shoots this past weekend. I have yet to get the pictures from the one I had on Friday, but I got a cd of the pictures I took yesterday. Here are two from that session:
The shoot I did yesterday was with a really nice guy named John McDonald who does photography more for a hobby. He used to shoot weddings and do portraits and it was doing that that got him through school. Now he just kind of does it for fun. The other person I modeled for this weekend was a really professional guy who works out of a studio in an old antebellum mansion. Imagine how much fun that place was to shoot in!! It was fantastic!! When I get the pictures back from that I will post them. My only regret is that I wish I had gotten paid for that one. I did a lot of contorting and yoga-esque moves for the guy. Alas though, I waive my fee for photographers in Tuscaloosa as my way of supporting local artists.
My back has been bothering me lately. I don't think it is shoot related. It's just recurring pain that I get every now and then. The last time I had it this bad was when I was pregnant. Needless to say, I am not letting myself run and do my normal floor exercises for fear of making it worse. So, in lieu of running and lifting my small weights, I have been swimming.
That's not me. All the pictures of me in the pool were unflattering at best. But I thought that picture of dkmfc and the little man was adorable.
I really want my hair to grow out. It's finally time for it I think. The longer my hair got, the younger I always looked. I wish there was something I could take to make it grow over night. This arduous process of growing it out has always been my willpowers downfall. I could never get through the mullet stage. I would always end up cutting it off in a fit or shaving into a mohawk on a whim. But I need to let it grow this time, if not for me for my best friend and her upcoming wedding of which I am a bridesmaid.
Also, I need to grow it out so I can color it. Brown just isn't my color.

Yeah, I'm back finally. I've just been having lots of logistics trouble trying to get on here and post. But whle I was gone I hear you put up a set in members area. Boo! I am devestated that I missed it.
Don't sweat it getting closer to 30. 26 is still a long way away from being old, and being old is still a long way away from feeling old.
