I need a new profile picture. I am sick of looking at that one. And I am sure all of you are sick of looking at it too.
Please leave suggestions for said new profile picture in the suggestion box..err...I mean the comment box!
I hate how one serving on the box of cookies is listed as one cookie. It should at least be two cookies. I mean, who eats just one cookie? I would like to meet the person who can practice that much self restraint! My father always said that I lacked discipline. Perhaps he was right. I can never stop at just one. Hence the reason I don't drink anymore.
Speaking of not drinking: I have become the worlds biggest dork since I got all sorts of sober. The me a few years ago would have never talked about birds or bird feeders with such blatant enthusiasm and excitement. She would also have never spent $10.00 on bird seed and have been giddy about it. She would have been too busy missing work because of her hangover and complaining about it.
This time I got them the really good stuff because I found a bag of it at Big Lots for much less than it's listed at Target or the pet store. I think they were a bit confused by it at first, but now they are diving into it with such zeal it makes me squeal to watch them through the window. And the cardinals keep coming back too, which makes me happy. Hopefully I will get some other species of birds too besides the cardinals and the house sparrows.
I am also a big dork regarding my little window sill garden. I am just excited to have plants thriving in my care because I was not exactly born with a green thumb. I have a few basil plants, a Venus fly trap, an aloe plant (at the suggestion of Shalome this was my first plant. She said that they are idiot proof) and some sort of flower. It's all very quaint and nice.
I missed so much of the little things in life for so long. And as it turns out, the little things make me the happiest.
I have decided I want to do a multi girl set with someone. Any takers? Suggestions? Again...leave it in the box! There are some girls I would love to do a multi with, but I am the worlds shyest human being when it comes to talking to pretty ladies.
