I'm headed to the Seattle-Tacoma area. I lived in CO for a couple years and my family has a cabin here. The suck that is I25 - I'm very familiar with that. The mess down in Trinidad was new to me though. That one-lane snake was probably the toughest part of the trip. The narrow lane combined with the reversing curve made for a very interesting time.
Rather than take I25 up and then turn west in Wyoming, I'm going to take 70W through Utah. It means going through the Eisenhower tunnel, but that is the only wet section per the CDOT page last night. It looks like they got a bit of overnight snow in the Vail/Loveland pass, but I'll be hitting it later in the day. The road conditions in Wyoming look quite a bit worse. The famous Wyoming winds are also something I'd like to avoid.

Fun!
