Also I agree with your every word about Korns first two albums. After that they got all produced and blingy and shit. But I still cant resist buying every one of their cd's that come out, even if I don't mean to, cuz if a song gets stuck in my head I become POSESSED by repetitive satan until I go out and buy whatever song is stuck. Which is always the newest KORN song.
Self titled gets my blood pumpin. Predictable and Faggot. mad

Well, I am feeling much better after sleeping nearly an entire day. Yay for me.
I saw a news report yesterday about a group that was camping in the mid west somewhere that got killed. IT sounded a bit fishy to me, and after reading the Zombie Survival Guide, I have concluded this must be a zombie attack. Hopefully it is contained before it gets...

Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
We do not want your tired, or sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Each day, we will spill their blood, until it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill, do...

Bleh, I just had the sudden onset of a bad headache. Normally, it takesa awhile for the ball to get rolling, but every so often they hit me bad within a minute or two. I just felt the need to put something else in here, seeing as how it seems like every sixth entry or so I get a reply. I put together Underworld tonight,...

I have all the characteristics of a human being: flesh, blood, skin, hair. But, not a single clear, identifiable emotion. Except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside me, and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overwflowed into my days. I feel lethal. On the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip...

TOOL 3 TIMES? Why don't you just put TOOL FUCKIN' TOOL like I did? whatever
Sorry some girl tore a hole in your heart.
Cancers are cool, but leos scare me.
joywoman:
Seattle is cool. I love it here. Nordstroms, whatever, you know?
I had another interview anyway, and it went pretty well. I might be delivering copy machine toner. That's cool, cuz then I can listen to WHATEVER I WANT in my own car all day. Unlike the bakery I work at now where all my boss listens to is Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong and all that old 40's stuff. Not that I mind that music, (it's classic), but EVERY DAY?!? whatever
Leos can be hella cool, one of my best friends is a leo, BUT- he is the ONLY person that can make me as mad as only he can make me, if you know what I'm saying. When he's being cool, he's the sweetest, but he likes to antagonize me from time to time. We have that love/hate/brother/sister friendship. It's cool, I just get him back and teh we get over it biggrin
I'm rambling so I'll let you go.

Okay, so I just woke up after Lollapalooza. It was looking grim for a bit on Friday night on getting there and all but we made it and oh man. It was all worth it.
I was really only excited about seeing A Perfect Circle and Audioslave, so until then it was basically just walk around, and have a couple assly over-priced beers. IT was...

Mwa ha, a day off and the house to myself for the next week. I think I will be doing a fair amount of drinking the next few days, until I take off for Palooza at least. I am trying to decide what to go rent tonight, I sorta wanna watch Jason goes to Hell and A New Nightmare. See the last two movies of...

For me its a toss up between Vertigo and The Man Who Knew too Much(Peter Lorre is the man!)...I just got back from a George Clinton show. He playedPalooza back in '95, I think. I'm pretty trashed right now, too, actually....was Freddy vs. Jason actually worth the last five years of hype?

I read The Once and Future King years ago as part of a study I was doing on the Romantic story line archetype. Where are you in the book? I think the the thing that drove me the most crazy about it (and this is really ridiculous blush ) is that I kept wondering just how in the hell Merlin could be "living backwards in time." Have you ever read Gabriel Garcia Marquez? If your into the whole fantasy-story-with-relevant-social-points thing, you might enjoy him. You might start w/Leaf Storm; its a collection of short stories (that way you can see whether you're interested in diving into one of his (rather difficult) novels). Are you really into horror? I'm a film student; I'm trying to make a film right now based on a lot of the ideas from the late 60's/early 70's "little devil movies" ( The Omen, The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, et al.). Suspense films always directly reflect what the culture is most afraid of at the time they are being filmed (i.e. 40's Film Noir-fear of post WWII/Rosey the Rivator feminism/independent women; 50's Sci-Fi reflecting fear of could war invasion; 80's slasher/teen horror flicks reflect fear of inner city/other wise degenerates coming to corrupt/destroy our good All American Reaganite teenagers, etc.) Anyway, I think that all these childern-as-the-devil films were reflection of our grandparents' irrational fears that society was going to hell because of their hippie/communist/beatnik/junkie/take-your-pick childern. I think that this "genre" of film could be very well reworked in the face of American society's post 9-11 invasion fears. (Given, for example, The Exorcist's depiction of the demon as having orginated from Iraq) Any thoughts or opinions you have about these movies would be greatly appreciated. Do you ever watch any old Italian horror films from the 60's/70's? Try anything directed by Lucio Fulci-City of the Living andDon't Torture a Duckling are among my personal favorites of his. Another "classic" of early Italian horror cinema was the orginal Carnival of Souls; stupid movie, but some of the indivual images are among the most eerie I've ever seen. Let me know when you finish The Once and Future King...
