Un-Dear place of employment:
You're not the only one who wishes I could be in 3 or more places at once. It'd be a neat trick, and even more efficient than I am now. I understand, though, that you assume I can be in 3 places doing 3 jobs since I do the workload of 3 people, but hey. Doesn't work like that.
It would help if I didn't have several supervisors all who insist that they are the topdog and THEIR needs override the others.
Hire some people, or if you insist on keeping low numbers then hire people who work.
Fix my goddamned forklift. I realize I'm a huge contributor to it's beaten up shape, but hey-tools gotta work, and they can't work when they're broken from working.
My name is not fucking Shaggy. I haven't had the Shaggy cut in about a year. Get over it.
So one can supposedly be fired for not working hard enough and/or for not showing up to work.....but with overtime being a terminateable offense, that's kinda like punishing us for working "too hard" and showing up more reliably.
As one of two people who constantly volunteer or GET volunteered when extra duty is required, as someone who's never needed to be disciplined, etc; maybe even a piddly extra raise could be in order?
Anyhow. Work sucks. Yep. Not the worst I've done, though, and not the least paying...
ON TO MORE IMPORTANT THINGS.
Despite having fucked up the Doug thing, another shot is apparently in order....strange how things work out, but I'm going to take it.
New residence is finalized, just gotta get all moved in....not that it'll take much. Light living, hurrah!
I worship MollyMcLashes.
