WOO HOO! The theater has wifi!
I am on the 4th day of loading in and building the Opera "Carmen". This set is huge! Two of the Acts' set pieces have to go outside, due to lack of offstage space... and I am not talking just a piece or two, it's all of the set for two acts! I do have the run for Show Calls, which means I will be here every other night until the 24th, and accepting other work from dispatch.
I might have a place lined up to move into this week. I gave up on the idea of my friend Noel as a roommate... I need my own space... plus this way I can run amuck nekkid! :0
So, ...I went to Poky last weekend, so my sister could see the whole fam as a belated x-mas. My mother really enjoyed this, but I had to let everyone know, not to get used to these unusual frequent sightings of me, even though my nieces and nephews have been enjoying it.
I was able to drive home in the Subaru wagon my brother had for me. The little car does need a bit of love, but nothing I can't handle. It feels good to be mobile again...
... I need a beer, a shot, a bowl, an Asian girl to walk on my back... and all these things not neccesarily in that order...
