Sooo gutted..

I was meant to be going out in Manchester on thursday, but my friend couldn't make it, so now I've got two days off and nothing to do with them. Talk about a disaster!

So now I'm desperately ringing around, trying to find some mates who can put me up somewhere and party with me.. so far it's not looking good!

So the floods have finally fucked off.. which in real terms means I'm now without an excuse for not going into work. frown

The one upshot of being fully puke this week is that I've finally had a chance to read some books.. I've nailed the His Dark Materials trilogy and The Da Vinci Code... All of which I really enjoyed.. I've got a book about the theory of relativity and time travel waiting to be devoured next biggrin

Dude, I used to live up Spring Bank (on one of the nicer streets!). I started Uni there in 2001, but I only managed a year, due to my health problems. It was U of Lincoln, though.

Where did you used to live? Ever hit the waterfront on a Monday? Room on a Wednesday? LAs on a Thursday? If is, we'll have probably bumped in to each other.

I had to work over new years eve... but it was ok.. I just got lashed behind the bar on free booze! I also managed to win a bottle of bubbly for making the most sales on the night somehow!
