Has anyone else seen the film Saw? I've just watched it for the first time and I was really blown away! eeek biggrin

i just got back from a job interview at Hot Topic (have they made their way across the pond yet? hadn't last time i was in Devon) and they were playing Muse - Absolution on the store stereo...

i start to tell the cashier (who's singing along quite openly) about Origin of Symmetry (they only just hit the USA and most people only know Absolution, so I was trying to do him a favor as I think that album is just as good if not better) and he gets all snotty like "huh, yea, i know like, all 4 of their albums" at which point i just walk away knowing full well they only have 3 albums (unless you count the early EP i guess) and shaking my head at his unnecessary snottiness...

and that's my rant for this evening... biggrin

So, I'm now back to working in the shitty bar. Which righteously bites. I'd forgotten quite how fucking boring it was, having spent the entire of yesterday evening sat in that shitty hole, I've decided I really need to find something else and soon!

Wicked news... my work placement starts on the 28th of feb.. for at least a week, hopefully two, this means:

A) my cv will look a bit better

B) I get to spend two weeks with my lady biggrin

It's all good. Hopefully sometime after I finish up there then I'll move down to bright light city.. wherever that is!
