Introducing, the new and improved Hypersage, now with 100% more employment.

After 9 months looking for work and struggling by on whatever savings we had and the pittance that the government gave us, I could not be more relieved. Ok, I'm not going to be a captain of industry or anything but it's a permanent job and regular money, which about all you can hope for these days. I'm really excited about it though, it'll be good just to do something with my days, I really felt like my brain was beginning to melt over the past couple of months. The only downside is that I now only have Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day off but I'm not gonna complain about having to work when I've been so desperate for a job.

Hopefully this job will give me the opportunity to do what I really want to and attend University next year. I have enough qualifications to gain a place and I've had a chat with the Professor of a Sociology Degree at a local University and she seems keen to have me on her course. I honestly thought my shot at that level of education had passed me by when the kids were born but with the kind of funding that I've been told we can get, I'd be stupid not to do it.

Yesterday was the youngest Devil Child's first school production and she rocked. She was an angel and only had a tiny part involving some singing and dancing but she was so happy about it and we were incredibly proud of her.

Not long to go until Christmas now, the commercials have started, the songs are all over the radio... I just wish it would snow.

"Getting an inch of snow is like winning 10 cents in the lottery."
Bill Watterson

Fuck yeah! Congrats bro. Oh, and when i do manage to come back over, we'll definitely have to hit some parks while it's pissing down with rain. Ahhh, memories....
