It's only noon but today has been weird already. I'm feeling better about my uncle, but I keep going in and out of the apathetic phase that comes with the news. I'm still worried about my other family members...I'm hoping they'll allow themselves time to grieve as grieving is a HUGE part of a healing process.

Totally understand your loss. I took care of my dad for his last two years of life- the grief didn't hit me till several months later, when I had a total breakdown. I'd been staying strong (or so I thought) for my mother and my family. I mean it wasn't a shock, I saw his decline firsthand as I was unofficially his 'hospice' caregiver. I knew for 20 years how it would be for him.
It is still a very huge loss!
Grief doesn't always hit right away, there's a period of shock, denial, and eventual acceptance. And even knowing the psychology of it doesn't make it any easier.
I was overwhelmed by sadness suddenly one night, with no clue it was coming.
If not for my guy I probably would have joined my da in the afterlife.
I hope your family (and you) find peace with your uncle's passing.

ShweEt deal. Yea i decided to volunteer n work the whole weekend. idk what i was thinkin. wish i could take my guitar with me. lol. I still need alot of practice on it, and even tho it sounded kinda shitty last night i played the shi0t out of it till the sun came up. haha. I figured if i can master a simple song like Brain stew by green day i'll be making go0d progress. Anywho, hope u have a go0d one today. l8terz beautiful.
So I guess today is my actual first day as a "Hopeful". Wee! Maybe people will like my set, maybe they won't. I know what I need to improve on and I plan on giving this a shot until I can't shoot no' mo'z.
