hyit

raaaaaaawr. i had my 2nd to last sesh (hopefully) on my chestpiece yesterday morn. and now its super scabby. kind of reminds me of burnt cheese. i usually find my zen peaceful self during these sessions, but i could not have been more annoyed at this one. i sucked my nose ring up my nose over the weekend and it passed thru my sinus cavity and i coughed it up approx 10 min later...dont act like youre not imoressed. it was weird and gross and i hope not to repeat it.


i am going to start writing for a local music mag. a friend of mine currently writes a column, and one of the magazine's founders is also a friend. hopefully the mag will remain geared towards the rock-ish/metal genres. it is supposed to be getting some sort of financial backing from stl rapper nelly, so i hope that doesnt mean local rap artists will be the main focus. not that i cant appreciate good rap, im just not passionate about it like i am rock/metal/hardcore.

in other news, i will be shooting my submission set at the end of august and i could not be more excited. it has been consuming all my brain space and making it hard to think about much else. a great photographer and friend of mine will be coming from los angeles to shoot it. he's uber talented and was my absolute first pick to do it. yay! and ive decided to stop drinking. forever.
