I have to say I was rooting for the Vikes cause my roommate is from Minnesota.
I knew we were going to lose about half time. I kept saying that we better score or this holding off the Pats isnt going to last long. I hate to be right sometimes.
I really wasnt expecting the Vikes to win. The Saints do have it tough this year man. And you are right, I dont think they are going anywhere this year. It sooths me to know, neither are the Packers.
hey, just noticed the sgnc post... didn't realize you're new to the area and might be looking to head out to places. I seem to be on here less and less lately due to work and everything else, but am up for a night out anytime if you just need to go hang somewhere.
Hope things are going better for you,

and occasional moments of spontaneous excitement that make us forget the mundane and briefly and that who's dream sustains us through our mundanity
mundane. mundane. it's a fucked up word isn't it? onamatapoeic (i should never have tried to spell that) but it's a long boring and ugly word that suits it's meaning....
but it's the trivial, the inconsequential, the mundane drops in the bucket that take up the spaces between our great tragedies and triumphs. discount it and the whole thing unravels.
you take for granted the trivial things. but they're holding your life together.
and i know.
things get lost.
people die.
cities are destroyed.
wars are fought.
empire rise... Read More

You should very much email an address; that way you will have MUSAC next week!!
You look kinda like Victoria Abril doing the (shhk!shhk!) iCaracortada! head-move in Kika in that pic.... well, you do, trust me....
They have banana trees in North Carolina?? I thought it'd be too cold... even in New Orleans! But then, I dunno how cold N.O. gets. I know you mentioned hoodies... good news- I can tell you, you will get to wear one soon in NC.
edit ps- If you had to leave hoodies in N.O., tell me. I will totally send you one of mine. I have ridiculous amounts of sweater... and you don't want to wear one with toxic sludge in it.
i hope you get settled a bit more when you've got your own place. seems like it's happened very quick for you though... sometimes that can be good though...
i'm sure by now you're all pretty sick of hearing me bitch about the damned hurricane. yeah, i'm sick of hearing about the damned hurricane as well.
things are plugging along. it's hard to focus on the day to day routine when i don't know when i'll have to drop everything and go home to pack up my things. but. i'm trying.
I was behind schedule on that because I wasn't sure you'd have a postal address to use. I can do a few things fairly soon, though... I mean, I can start tonight... it's funny, I'm behind on making Kikka CDs too, but I've just sent her a bunch of VHS tapes, movies and things.
So did you need anything in particular? I know I can tape the Kinks for you (I've got the song I fucked up on before), and I've got most of Eno's Warm Jets/ Tiger Mountain to one CD, and a lot of GbV, and then my regular old freaky mixes I sent to a dozen folks...
although i'm not coming back to stay. i keep having to reming myself that. i'm coming back to hurriedly back up my things, provided i still have things (ha ha- i... Read More
i believe firmly that one should not speak in detail, and speak very little in passing, about prospective opportunities that are still in the works. for example, if you've applied for a job, and feel that the interview went very well, but have not heard back from your prospective employers, you should speak as little as possible about the job until you hear that you've... Wow- a gay-mustache-guys mural!!! Wow again!
It's "realtor"- but i don't think they really exist; they are holograms sent here from the future where real estate is much more expensive.
I wish I could your bicep- if it would'nt bother the man...
I tell you what- a good sleep without using a sleeping pill- that is my f-ing dream...
