yeah, i'm still alive.

this is my first update in quite a while, and i don't have a lot of time in front of the computer. so. thank you everyone for commenting, the happy wishes, for giving half a shit that i exist, etc. you all rock. hard. i mean it. much love.

i'm still in somerset, so it goes without saying that there's nothing much new- nothing terrible or glorious to report. at the moment i am over at mel's house and she is going to cook me her special spaghetti tonight. so yay. then we are going to watch "shaun of the dead" and drink a bottle of wine. and... that's it.

i'm dreading going back home more than i thought i would be. but it's still a day and a half away. so. i'm trying not to think too much about it. it's just... uhg. i don't even want to get into it. don't want to sound like i'm wallowing in some pit of self-concocted misery, either, but... hey. i'm good at it.

i'll talk to everyone soon- don't have time right now to check up on your journals. but i'll be back in new orleans on thursday night. for better of for worse, but either way, with my own computer.
