So long time no post huh. I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Years. ^_^
Been hanging out in my home town for the past couple of weeks working with my father. I enjoyed it a lot surprisingly, I may be studying to be a teacher but oddly enough I could actually be a fitter and turner at heart. We've even been talking of me doing a welding course at some stage.
Speaking of study, final year of uni this year, then I can become a real boy and earn decent money at a job that doesn't involve hospitality.
Oh and because of a specific young lady I've been drawing again (albeit badly). I even went and bought a new set of drawing pencils and I've been scouring my old comics for some artistic influences (so far - Kelly Jones, John Romita Jr. Jim Lee (old Uncanny X-men run) and Frank Miller (old Daredevil run). It's funny how just one person can inspire you, so thankyou to the very awesome Miss Alaina. ^_^
I won a copy of the Bayonetta Climax Edition with replica gun the other day too, just for writing a limerick. Waiting for that to arrive, in the meantime I've been playing the shit out of Arkham Asylum, such a good game and bats is a badass
List of things to do today:
Re-string and do the intonation on my guitars
Check my extension speaker box to make sure it's working 100%
Finally sort out my super (blah!)
Buy tickets to Fantastic Mr. Fox
and finally, look for a new bicycle, I saw an old school one with white rims for sale for a couple of hundred bux
