My stint as Helper Monkey at Hot Topic ends on Friday... it's been a really great experience for me, I love all the people I work with, and it was actually fun to work there. A complete swing in the other direction from fast food, certainly. The pay kinda sucks, but a month and half later, I'm a few hundred bucks richer than I'd be if I just sat on my ass all day.
In other news, I spent New Year's Eve all alone. Not like I care, really. I spend every night alone. I just happened to drink slightly more last night than I usually do. And I watched part of the Insomniac marathon. Dave Attel is god. Other than that, New Year's just means I'll have to expend an extra ounce of effort to remember that I need to date papers differently.
My sister is going to Texas next week for college. I gave her my laptop, which she'll need, but that means I no longer have a computer located in an area comfortable enough in which to write. Ah, well... not like any of it was that good to begin with.
