so yesterday was going okay until i got the worst possible phone call ever, on my way into work last night.
a friend of mine, who has been using heroin for longer than ive known him, died Monday afternoon, apparently of an overdose. no one is really sure if it was an accidental overdose, or it was suicide, because last week he had been tlking about getting sober again, then he got into a fight, and began talking about suicide. as bad as his addiction was, he was an awesome guy, and for a while he was one of my daughters favorite people (when he wasnt high). he was messed up o a lot of different levels, but for the most part, he was an okay guy. he was part of a group of my friends that all had abscure nicknames that we thought we sounded cool with. Im Harley, since Im a huge batman fan and Harley Quinn was my favorite female charachter. Our friend that informed me of all this is Twitch , whos real name is Ben Shakes.
My friend who died, may he rest in peace, was and forever will be Casper, AKA Henry Finnerty, because he was the most pale guy we ever saw. I loved him for his sense of humor and his ability to find the good in a lot of things. He will be missed by many and I hope whatever afterlife he believes in is the most beautiful thing hes ever seen.
