Time for an update, even if I am a tad disappointed. It was a complete surprise to me that more SGs admitted to owning a Hello Kitty vibrator, than would admit to ever using acrylic toys in their ____. So maybe this theme has played itself out, so to speak.

You're a photographer, you can see the flaws! First, they were printed on film and then scanned, so they're grainy. Secondly, this egomaniac had to ruin the shots by putting his copyright right smack in the middle of the photos instead of somewhere discreet. Third: if you look at the top photo, the fingers of my left hand are slightly visible in a sea of black. It's distracting to the viewer: what is that, a sausage? Fourth, in the second photo I'm making a face like I've got a seed in my mouth and I'm waiting for him to hurry up and take the photo so I can spit it out. Sigh. I've decided to not work with any non-SG-vetted photographers any more.

And yes, getting the bits pierced hurts. I can't wait til the day when I can, um, benefit, from said piercing.

Since I have some Swedish ancestors, it was particularly exciting to see a cable tv program about a hotel in Lapland, built every year from ice, and come springtime it just melts away. The next year they design a new one. How absurd - but it's true. You can book a room for "only" about $350/night too.
