Well that was really good.

I got the call from hypnogogic just as I was leaving my building after work. That night was gonna be good. So I had a good conversation with a lady that also works in the civil engineering field: It made the MAX ride all that much faster.

After I got home, I took a nap, which ended up being way longer than it ought to have been. I dashed off to pick up Venice and then we headed over to the Matador and then to Devil's Point, and to Biscayne's friend's house to chillax before heading out. It was really good. I was tired though the whole day, so my face didn't quite match my mood. That's the problem with Fridays. They start super early, and then one is expected to stay out really late, so one can go almost 24 hours without sleeping on a regular basis on Fridays. It's not right. And then the reverse happens on Sunday: one sleeps in, and then has to go to bed early to go to work, so it evens out, but it's just not even all the time.

I like the rain. I didn't like the fact that I was stupid and didn't bring an umbrella or rain coat to work.
