So I had a couple interviews today.

The first one was the really cool job that would actually allow me to use my physics. However, I must first be accepted for the job. I think my biggest hang up was trying to be interviewed by a robot. I swear to god this guy was a machine. He had no emotion, I couldn't judge him. He was flat and monotone.

So, while I feel like I expressed myself sufficiently and gave a good impression and demonstrated my capabilities, I don't have a clue how it went. It was actually quite disappointing--just because I didn't get any response whatsoever. I mean--even if I was accepted for the job I'd have to work with this guy. I don't know if I could do that--we'll see though.

The second one was much more cordial, yet it was for a lesser position that doesn't really utilize my skills much, but it sounds like it'd be mildly fun. The lady that interviewed me seemed a liltle more receptive to passion and enthusiasm and shared it with me.

The first one though has been bugging me all night. Ah well. Time to send out more resumes I guess.

I know, it's like something you'd read about in a tabloid or in Believe It Or Not...

Good luck with the interviews... mostly with the robot one because it sounds like quite a challenge, but I wish you luck with either.

I hate the job search process. Especially when they include an interview like the first one you described... I've had quite a few of those myself (but I did get the job, so...) Good luck!
