So. The guy I'm working for today told me why I was fired:
I broke the unwritten rule of professional offices

The professional staff and adminstrative staff are not to mingle
I am an engineer by choice and training. However, I was hired on as part of the administrative staff. I hung out and learned and cooperated with the engineers more than I ever did with any of the admin staff. Apparently this is frowned upon.
Next time, I'll make sure to be classified as part of the professional staff...

For my next trick, I'll sort you lot out into two groups:
Group 1 will say: "Oh man, those are the worst"
Group 2 will say: "What's that?"

Group one. We pulled up our carpet at our old house. We had hardwood floors. And lots and lotsa staples.....
