I know what you mean about not being able to chat with your friends because you're busy. I haven't meant to neglect anyone lately; but it'll be a few more weeks before the new guy at work will be able to hold down the fort by himself. I still work six days a week sometimes.

The thing I miss about the old background is the "bookmark" button. It was so easy to just go and see who in my friends list had updated their journal recently. Does the new SG have one - have I not seen it yet?

I haven't seen the movie yet, in fact I decided that I'd rather read the book first, which I bought but haven't yet started. From your description (assuming the book is true to the movie (er, you know what I mean) then I think I'll like it very much. The biggest problem I have with many religions is the apparent inequality between men and women.
