Wow, loaning someone money is a pretty big deal. I would do it for most of my friends. But most people, have a hard time asking for or accepting a friend-loan. A point of pride perhaps.

Thats why I never loan to friends. If they need, I just give it as a gift. If they are a good friend, they will give something back when they can.

She is ignoring you because she is embarrassed...not out of disdain. For whatever reason (intentional abuse, or inability) she cannot repay you, knows she ultimately used you, and is now too embarrassed to look you in the eye. However, that does not smack of a true user...as a true user has no fear of looking you in the eye and will continue to ask for more until you eventually say fuck off.

It would be a shame to lose a friend over $60. The best thing you could do, to allow her to save face, would be to ask her for help with something she could do without cash, but that has at least a $60 value (like help paint, or clean the garage.) Dont mention the money, that is not the point. The point is...when one person is always taking, and never has the opportunity to give, that person will eventually fall away from shame.

I was mostly fascinated by the potency of the bear. Not some rinky dink bear (Well aparently they're gonna have a bunch of those too) but a Grizzly Bear. I hadn't even began to ponder the issues of keeping an animal like that. More the fact it's a Grizzly Bear.

Otherwise things are alright-ish.

Got a show coming up playin bass with a hip hop group, That s pretty cool. Also been frustrating myself trying to get this other band together as well (fuckin amatures driving me crazy...whole 'nother story).

Been goin a bit crazy trying to figure out how to incorporate my Laptop into my Home Studio and with my other 2 computers, incorporating my laptop to my live show how to convert some hardware i have on my Desktop PC to my laptop, all that for $0. HA! Rrrright.

And thanks for the warning about jumping out there but i'm definitely not just going out there cold. I've been passively "researching" about it for over a year. i just keep trying to find new sources for information because nothing has really made it click yet. I'm not expecting it to be an instant gratification thing, but i'm also still waiting for that A-Ha moment when my level of understanding jumps and pulls everything i learned together into one cohesive understanding.
