So Mervyns suckedhardcore. I couldn't do it, and I guess I really didn't want to. It was just so boring and the people there are incredibly lame. I quit after a few weeks, but before I did I found another job at a sushi place here in town. It's definitely better and I feel like I'm in my element a little bit more. It's a good second job since it's a lot easier then the Host.
So Christmas is coming up, really fast. I can't believe it's only a couple weeks away. This year went by so fast and I can't believe it's almost over. It feels like just yesterday that I was spending Christmas in my other apartment. So much has happened and changed though I should be able to keep it all in perspective. I'm looking forward to the holiday though, and not only that but my birthday is just around the corner, and I like my birthdays lol. Although I'm going to be 24, and that's one year closer to 25, which is almost 30! Don't you love my rationalizations? I do too.
Lately I've been getting a lot of tattoo magazines, whichever ones I can find around at stores, and I duplicate drawings of tattoos I like. Mike gave me the idea, and I thought it was smart, just to show everyone that I can do it. Otherwise if it was only up to me I would just keep drawing stuff I like to draw, but that's not always going to be the case. It's been a really good exercise for me so far, and I think it's easy. I've been in the mood to draw a big sugar skull with flowers and wings, so I might work on that today. I have the day off! Woot!
I'm going to be meeting up with another photographer soon to take another set for SG. I liked the one I just had taken but I've been wanting to work with this photographer for a little while and he seems like he does really nice work.
