Hiiiiiiii!!! Hows everyone doing?!! im good.. the job is going really well!! finaly got all of the abbreviations n stuff down to write tickets better... you know... making good money.. i worked yesterday from 12-3 and made 50.. so lets see.. thats 13.34 plus hourly wage 3.90... thats over 16.00 an hour... not too shabby... now they just gotta give me more hours..

you know... like for the last week its been barely snowing or anything, and there were tons of salt trucks out.. all hours.... now.... we have like 4 inches, blowing nasty below 0 temps.. not one salt truck.....?? skull

I drove to work today by memory, I couldnt see the roads at all.

I always curse having to drive through Pennsylvania in the winter. They recently made a MASSIVE increase to the cost of their turnpike. I haven't run the full length of it lately, but BEFORE the increase it used to cost over a hundred bucks in my truck. Ouch. I fear the cost now. And for all of that revenue, they do a seriously shitty job of treating winter conditions. Last year on I-80 there was an accident that quite litterally involved over 50 vehicles. That is inexcusable.

On the other hand, driving across the New York Thruway (I-90) is almost always a pleasure, as the state does a fine job of winter road maintenance.

This is one time when I'm glad I'm not up in the north-east. Boston and Providence were calling for about two feet of snow. I go to that area quite a lot, but as good fortune would have it I am down here in the mid-atlantic just barely catching the southern edge of this storm.
