Sunday nights are definitely the one time of the week when this job of mine is the most lonely. It usually is the night following my departure from a typically short visit to the house. My usual entertainment is a new DVD. Mundane, but my options are a bit limited.

I am allowed to carry an adult passenger, assuming I notify the company about who it is, etc. In other words, no picking up random hitchhikers or some such thing. The passenger policy is also only in effect during the warmer 1/2 of the year. They son't allow it during the winter for some kind of insurance reason.
All in all, the company is reasonably good to me. I still have on my mind the idea of getting my own "straight truck" (it is like the sleeper cab of a semi with a 22 foot cargo van attached... no seperate tractor and trailer like I have now). The advantage of that would be that it'd be MY truck and then I can pretty much do whatever I want.
Disadvantage is that trucks like that are easily over $100,000 new. Going that route would really commit me to this career path for a considerably longer time. That isn't necessarily a bad thing... it is just something to consider.

That is cool!! - I have been spoiled so far. I am posted to a NATO airforce base so I have had very little field time besides training. My main job is to provide medical coverage for the runways, and do all the nursing stuff too - blood draws etc. How did you like it?? I am still not sure after 2 years what I think.

so u finally moved uh? Cool, would love to see ur new place in pics....I gotta tell ya I found my new place as well, I will post pics next saturday probably! I cant believe I had luck in the end! Im moving close to barcelona, in sitges, a very cool spot at the beach just 30min to barceloba and much cosy! My studio is tiny but will look cool I think! Ill keep u posted...what do I do the rest of my life when not working'.....mmm, well, I spend most of my time with my band mates and with the band, rehearsing and going to play around....otherwise I dont do much, used to skate a lot before but Im not in good shape anymore haha, I gotta start again though since Im moving to a place where Ill have a skatepark very close and the beach is just 10 meters from my door so I will go swiming and so! I like paintball too but have done it just once cos here is too expensive! Besides I sometimes go to protests for animal rights and visit my friends here and there, watch movies and smoke dubbies!...How about u? Id like to know as well hehe!
