My co-workers are counting the minutes before I can drink again...apparently they don't like the sober Holliday.
My other friends suggest I don't jump back into the bourbon.

Sobriety still sucks...but I think the worst is over.
The first few days were torture...but I think now I've gotten a little more accustomed to it.
Can't say I like being so clear headed...but I'm trying to use this time wisely. Emotionally anyway...can't say much for my productivity...
Spent hours chatting with my darling Doineanta online which helped me immensly....

I quit drinking quite as much as I used to, (I used to drink everynight, now its only like once a week), but have you ever noticed that its when you are on prescription meds that you aren't allowed to drink on, is when you want to drink the most? I did, and I just finished 10 days of antibiotics, boy oh boy, did i wanna drink, and at the social d show I went ahead and did just that...

Sobriety does suck, but after awhile you get used to it. It's strange when you haven't had a drink or smoke in awhile and then you do, and you're drunk off one or two shots, when it used to take 10! The one plus side of a brief stint of sobriety...
So I haven't had a drink in two days.
I decided to be responsible and go to the doctor about my lil' ol' bladder infection...found out that's all it was (thank goodness)...and ended up on medication for a week...
And while I'm glad that it's just a bladder infection and not something a whole lot less fun...this sucks.
