Dear All,

I can't believe it, but I've survived school all the way to Christmas break! For someone who faces every day with the knowledge she might not pull it off, that's pretty fantastic!

Unfortunately, I won't be coming home for the holidays OR my big 3-0 birthday

I'll be spending my birthday with my fabulous friend Eva who drove down here with me back in July. She's come out to (her home) Austin...and I plan on making it up there for at LEAST a day or two.

I was trying to make it home for martin luther king jr. weekend in January, but it doesn't look like THAT'S going to happen either

Either way...right now I'm fixing to have a shot of whiskey (yes, i know, it's only 1pm) and eat some lunch.

And yeah, you heard me, I said fixing. I think I've been here too long!
