I survived

I know all my Texas friends are laughing their asses off at my fear of the tornado...but that's cool.

The weather cleared up for a while and then hit again sometime around 10pm. By then a couple of my friends had come over for study group and they made fun of me for being scared (but i definitely felt better having them around).

Got to school Wednesday to take my first test in my drivetrain class. It was on the a/c systems. I got a 20!! Woo hoo!!!

Army guy, who works in the tool room at school in the afternoon reported that there were two funnel clouds over the school yesterday afternoon. For the record, my school is a 3 mile straight shot down the road from my house. So I feel a little bit justified to have been freaked out. It was definitely really cool to see though, regardless of how scary.

Now I'm on Thanksgiving break. I was originally scheduled to work this night at the bar, which would have been fabulous. Since as of right now I don't have the money to come home for christmas But, while my lady boss is no longer out to fire me, she continues to take the good shifts away from me. So I'm sitting here in my apartment with my biker. And yeah, last night we agreed that we're dating. I had a small emotional breakdown, since no one has ever really wanted to date me and keep me to themselves. But we got through it.

We may or may not go out. Either way, I'm having a good Thanksgiving. I hope you all are too!
