Friday...4:33PM...I thought this week would never end...
I'll not address the ridiculous drama from yesterday's journal regarding my SG status because it's just that...ridiculous.
Regarding the rest of the entry...yeah...it's been wearing on me and I can feel it.
Just within this past week I got in trouble at school for jumping on and hanging onto the side of a car while we were pushing them back down the hill and into it's parking space (these are our project cars, no motors or anything...it was just rolling).
To be honest, that was the most fun I've had in weeks...
While I was walking back up the hill into the garage one of the instructors (not mine) came up and asked me to 'please refrain from jumping on the cars like that.' All talking down to me and shit.
Then...yesterday I was late for school...ok, it was just like, a minute or less...
The second bell was ringing just as I was taking the keys out of the ignition...and I ran my fat ass across the parking lot and down hall...
...but you should have seen the look on the class' face when I came running in just as the teacher was closing the door.
Then today, I bombed a test. Totally bombed it. Ok, so the whole class bombed it. But again, you should have seen their faces when I announced that I was one question away from failing it entirely.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Holliday is NOT perfect!
I need to visit home...and I need to visit home NOW!
During break today I was chatting with some of my classmates about school. I was standing there with one of the few girls that attends (she's many courses ahead of me) and I said something about how it's different for girls at the school.
The boys looked surprised and asked how. Me and the girl went ahead and listed off all the things I mentioned yesterday in my journal.
It felt good to vent a little...have some validation from the girl...and have the boys really understand what I go through every day.
It's NOT the same for us girlies. And all those differences are on TOP of the worry regarding grades and labwork, etc.
It really meant a lot to have them have a look inside what my life is like.
On the upside...that girl is selling me all her furniture!!! I'll finally have a couch to sit on and a table to study at!!! I'm so excited I could vomit!!!
Now I just have to figure some way to get it all from her house to mine.
No worries though...it'll all work out. It always does.
Thanks again to everyone who's been supportive of me in this crazy endeavor of mine. It's tough out here, I think of you all often and it really helps me get through it all.
Stay tuned for my set pics. I've got some copies, but their not the right size to be posted. Soon, folks, soon!!!
