And here we are in June...
Approximately 34 days til the big move...
Every day I come into this office it gets harder and harder to be here.
Things have been changing around here for a while, which is one of the reasons I decided to quit (as well as a couple of my co-workers). But as my final day of work (July 2) approaches I find it harder and harder to put up with all the shit that helped me decide to quit. Or, at least I get a little less careful about hiding it.
***
For the record: I happily spent the rest of my memorial day weekend crashed out on my couch playing my buster bros..
Thought I might up and quit smoking this morning then decided against it.
Hassled some poor woman I bought a shirt from who was having trouble sending it out...which would mean I wouldn't get it in time for the hotrod show this weekend. Which was entirely unacceptable...so. She agreed to send it overnight to me!
***
Spent a good hour searching my house for important items, like social security card, old car plates, etc that I need for official business here at SG and in my bankrupcy thing.
***
Sent an email to the lady at the housing office regarding STILL not being able to get in touch with my supposed future roommate. Not feeling very hopeful about it, I asked her to send me along some listings for studios near the school. And again...money becomes a serious worry.
***
I sent my resume off last Friday to a sign language interpreting agency in Houston. Hoping to get myself a little jobby-job before I get there. Which would take a load off regarding the money thing.
I plan on sending another one out today before escaping this horrid office.
***
I had sooooooo much fun at steveneurotic's this past weekend. Just chilling out, watching movies, surfing the net, and shooting photos. It was like a little mini-vacation from my life.
Now it's back to the grind...
I desparately need to refocus...make a new list of things I still need to do and take care of them.
First on the list:
win the lottery
