I'm not supposed to tell you too much about what happened on the shoot and in the competition...but let me tell you this...
The show will air JULY 29th, THURSDAY, 8PM on THE LEARNING CHANNEL.
Do whatever you have to to see it...beg, borrow, steal a fucking television and make sure not to miss it! Watch what a little girl can do when unleashed behind the wheel of a fucking monster truck!!!
I can't tell you how much it fucking sucks to go from spending my days driving Big Foot to sitting behind this mother fucking desk...not to mention the whiplash I acquired on my last run. But it was well worth it. All the cast agreed we would have been happy to go home after just the first day. But alas, only one of us can go home the winner.
The production crew were super cool and the guys at Team Big Foot were encredible. I'll be sending them all a thank-you card today for giving us all the experience of a lifetime!
I spoke to the greaser an awful lot while I was there...as he was probably the person I could count on to truly appreciate what was going on.
On my last night there we spent an hour and a half talking...first about trucks...and finally...he invited me to join me at the Nomad's hot rod show this June 5th in Ct. So, after 8 months...I'm finally going to get to see the bastard again. He seems pretty excited and is making all the arrangements for my travel. Of course, now he says he's gonna take a nap while I drive his truck...since I have such experience behind those monsters!
I have only a couple of pictures from the shoot that I took with my camera phone. They were taking stills the entire time we were there and I should have them in a couple weeks. My fellow competitor also said he got a couple of good shots and I'll post them as soon as I get them.

For the record: I'm not even as tall as those tires. They clear me by at least 3 inches!
