Seriously, I have been reminding the people in my gang of just how badass they had to be to get in there in the first place. So if anyone comes steppin' and attempts to cop attitude, that's when you gotta remember that you've got a major force brewin' behind you, just waiting for a rumble. If they get up in your face and say "where's your gang now? I don't see anyone but you!" That's when you gotta tell 'em that your gang is so dangerous, we don't even have to be in the goddamn room to strike you down! I lay a smackdown from orbit, motherfucker! Like I've said before, we don't come lookin' for trouble, but if someone tries to bring it to you, that's when things get ugly. And we're so damn pretty, we even make ugly look good.

Us being friends is definitely expanding my horizons in life. I think it's safe to say that most people would not expect a woman who welds, races monster trucks, and wrestles in oil to be such a lucid writer. I mean, I'm not trying to be a jerk, but when I was a mover for Gentle Giant, people did a double take when I told them I was "Ivy-educated." It's just not something people are expecting, and most likey, they're assuming you're not that bright. Buit the fact that you are so smart AND do all this cool as hell stuff makes you tenfold awesome.

Grackles are the black birds that you see in big groups up in trees around town. They act a lot like pigeons when they are in the city. They can put out an amazing amount of poop if you park under them. If you see them in the country, they are this shiny very dark, almost black purple. It's hard to believe that they are the same species. I guess living off of french fries and cigarette butts isn't good for you.

Hey congrats on the 4.0. And Mercie showed me the email. Thanks. I had a 4.0 my first semester... but it was lost from there... but hey at least I did it once right?

The towers opened the year I was born and I remember growing up with them from the Human Fly to the tightrope walker to the remake of King Kong.

You can take yourself out of the city, and even take away the landscape of the city, but you will never NEVER take New York City out of me.

My fave part of the day is just before I go to bed and I go check on the dood. I recover him up because by then his covers are all a mess. I give him a kiss and usually stroke his forehead for a moment. In his sleep, he has a lot of the expressions he had as a baby. It brings it all back. He's still my baby.

Soundsl ike typical bartender shenanigans. I'm guessing it's the same the world over, not just Texas, as it sounds a lot like when I was tending bar in Pennsylvania. Oh well. At least the money's good.
