Thanks so much. Are stories are so much alike. I was going to schedule the vet to come to my house, but Guzzi took a very sudden bad turn and was feeling terrible so I wasn't going to maker her wait through the night. Guzzi loved riding in the car, so I drove to my 24 hr vet and had the vet come out to the car so that Guzzi didn't have to go back into that place.

I decided that I was going to try and restore the old once since all the classic buick parts companies that I called had no fuel tanks in stock nor did any think that it was a item that they needed to carry. The care will be running tomorrow and I will be in a movie with the car this wednesday... I think it's called "the truth will tell". It's staring gweneth platrow and sandra bullock, I am sure if you looked it up on IMDB you'd find it by searching either one of those actresses.

heh sounds like my past weekend went to the garage car fired up with my rebuilt carb and a little carb cleaner for prime. Then hooked up the fuel lines... nothing... checked the fuel pump seems to work opened the filter... MUD?!?!?!? Fucking MUD?!?!?!? I spent 1500 bucks on a rebuild kit thinking that it was going to be major work since it wouldn't fire for me one morning with starter fluid... now turns out that my problems were a dead battery after sitting for months and gastank full of what looks to be a clayish sand. Yeah it's not rust cause it's not all flakey like it's looks like the bottom of guadalupe river. NASTY!!!! So new gas tank should come today and I should be sputtering around town in that car by this weekend.... Yippeee!!!!
