Just played the worst/best gig ever. Enlgand won the footie tonight. I was dunk. there were little to no crowd for the show, but we tore the stage a new bum hole anyway. And it was good!

I've done some diving and lots of snorkeling....when I was growing up we would head south during the fall/winter to Crystal River and snorkel with the Sea Cows (manatee) My Dad was a dive instructor for about 15yrs and now he builds artificial reefs for the state of FL (well not at the moment due to his deployment) but he sits on the state board dealing with laws and such for reef building...I'm tellin ya , it's in my blood...

As an Englishman, who has recently dated an American girl, I'd have to say that it's a long way from being an insurmountable problem. 
Although admittedly, the solution to it from our point of view, as long as we lasted, seemed to be that I would speak in a more American idiom. Sometimes I still ask where the 'bathroom' is, or similar things. Yeah, I take it back. She Americanised me. But not my spelling.

Withnail and I is fucking incredible...easily one of my favorite movies of all time. I hadn't even heard of it up until a month ago when I noticed the box in the old comedy section of my movie store...saw that it was in the Criterion Collection and decided to give it a try...ended up being fantastic! Thank God for the subtitles on the Criterion Collection's DVD, though...my American ears can't sift through the accents and slang, so understanding the amazing dialogue without subtitles is nearly impossible.
Had a great weekend recording with the boys.

good for you man. I am set to hit the studio tomorrow, it is just a session thing but it is still THE STUDIO. Sounds stupid but i just love being in that environment, being creative (less so with session stuff obviously) and trying to get great guitars laid down to tape.
My band goes in the studio soon. Probably next month. 3 tracks, demo style.
