Four more weeks till I'm unemployed, andI am looking forward to it. I never thought not being an Indian would be something that would hold me back in a job but apparently it happens, so I told my company exactly how I felt about being offered a contract with less pay then almost everyone else in my lab, needless to say they weren't as happy to hear it as I was to say it. They definitely aren't happy that I am now on a scientific committee with representives of most of their customers and will no longer be bound by confidentiality.
On a more exciting note I am spending all next week at a food science conference learning about the latest developments in my field. I can barely wait.
