Sorry - I so need to update my journal. Been crazy crazy busy.
Had a nice Halloween. Decided to have a small pre-dinner party on Saturday. Decided to have a Mexican fiesta because of the number of people. It was great. We made these Mexican pizza things. It ended up turning into a late-night party though. Ended pretty ugly with us a bit drunk and having a beatles sing-a-long with the guitars.
Halloween Sunday was fun and low-key. Set up some speakers and effects to make spooky sounds out our windows while dishing out candy. The little kids were soooo cute, especially this chubby little Japanese boy around 3 years old who was dressed up as a yellow bunny. We actually ran out of candy!
Some kids tried to steal our pumpkins. They made off with one. I chased after them and managed to retrieve the pieces of my smashed pumpkin. It was great. I totally deserve that after all of my adolescent delinquency.
Getting together with a bunch of friends at a pub tomorrow to drown our election sorrows while watching the outcome. I'm very nervous about this election.
And I can't believe it's November.
