Sometimes I feel worthless
And hollow
Sometimes I feel loveless
And empty
Sometimes I feel joyless
And vacant
Sometimes I feel ugly
And void
But there are moments
In the darkness
When I see the light
And I know there is still
Reason for me to fight.
For me to try
And continue on this road
Though I cry,
Carrying a heavy load,
I will continue and see
The beauty to behold.
I will keep in my heart
All the love I can muster
And show through my art
That this world has a luster.
I will use the inspiration
From which I draw
To banish the evils,
