So this morning wasn't fun. I had worked hard on this persuasive speech, pulling my hair out trying to be "persuasive". I got an F. 300 points, I got basically none. My teacher berated me for about 15 minutes, telling me how wrong my speech was, how I don't follow directions, how most teachers would give me 0, but she'll be "nice" and give me "a couple points". I honestly thought I followed the directions and did everything right.
I wish I could go back to being 15 for just like a week, preferably spring break my sophomore year of highschool. The hills weren't alive, but I had interests and friends and did activites. Most of the time I'm couped up in my dorm room with the lights out and curtains drawn sitting at my computer.
OK, I'm all for free speech, and I usually don't hold opinions against people. But when they start attacking certain groups and getting all judgmental, I have a serious problem. This girl down the hall from me posted these articles about Bush's partial-birth abortion, or whatever and highlighted all these things and put little notes next to words like "pro-choice" saying "Murderer". Then she wrote all over the article "God Bless Bush!". ERRRRRG. You can be pro-life and not for abortion, whatever, I have no problem with that. It's the holier-than-though attitude that comes with some that annoys me. I don't go around telling pro-lifers calling them ignorant bible-thumpers. Don't call me a murderer, thankyou. And here ends the rant. Enjoy.
I'm seriously thinking of moving back to Indianapolis next year. I don't think I'm mentally ready for college right now. I don't understand this need to push us intol school right after highschool. For some people, such as myself, high school was really hard. I remember my junior year thinking of another 4 years of school, then probably 2 or 3 more for a masters and just wanting to crawl into a hold for 20 years and go into a coma. I think I just need to get a job, work (seeing as how..well...I've never really had a job before...) and just figure out what I want to do. I think college would be better suited for me when I'm a couple years older. I'm mentally and emotionally exhausted right now.

I'm actually planning on going here on the 17th and possibly the 18th in champaign (closer than chicago and a really cool club) and then more than likely the 19th in chicago work permitting.. usually after valentines day, It's pretty easy to get a block of days off work.... plus I work for the Hyatt, so I will be able to sleep in style no matter where I go
