So once again it's friday, and I'm at work, and there's still ice all over the place. Doesn't the ice know that it's not welcome here, we want it to go away. I want to be able to use the gas pedal when I drive, not just idle along slowly. Well at least the main streets are clear and it's just the couple blocks around my place and the parking lot at work that're skating rinks. Maybe I'll take and axe out and chip the ice off the driveway when I get home. It's not that it's that thick that you need an axe, it's just that the blunt side of an axe head is the next best thing to a sledge hammer for smashing ice and I can't find my sledge hammer.

Roommate's leaving to some nascar thing to do a demo of one of our systems next week so I'll have the house to myself all week. Been a while since that happened, he's been in town for almost two months straight this time. Longest he's ever been around.

As quiet as his daughter is most of the time, It'll be nice to not have her around for a while, the whole "You're really tall" thing gets old when you hear it every day. Yes, I'm tall, yes I'm big, yes I pushed your daddy's car out of the snow now go watch tv or something. It's sort of interesting seeing them though, the socially awkward trying to teach his daughter to fit in. Wierd.

I'm thinking of ordering a pizza tonight and just vegging out on WoW, it feels like it's been a super long week. The regular friday thing seems to be more the regular every other friday thing. The guys who were supposed to be coming over tonight aren't but for good reason. One's going to seattle to see his family, and another's going to try to fix two more of my friends computers and has to do a house call for it. She took one look at all the cables on the back and said, maybe he should come here and fix it. Which should be intersting because they had a brief thing a few years back that didn't work out and are only still in touch through me.

So yah, there's my random thoughts for the day.
