Tuesday night gaming summary:
3 Characters leveled up.
1 Cleric dead.
I think on the whole things went well at least on my end. The job of the DM as I see it is to put you in situations where it's dangerous, but if the party plays it smart they will prevail. This does not include a cleric forgetting to heal himself, and the other cleric walking right past him. That death is totally not my fault.
So the other guy's taking over next week, and my campaign gets shelved for 2 or 3 months, gonna be nice to take a bit of a break from running things, and just throw fireballs for a while. He's going to be continuing the two characters per player thing I've been doing, it works out well I find. That way when someone does die, they don't have to just sit out forever till you can get them back in the game. He's going to be taking True Resurect and Greater Teleport out of the game, last time he was running things they became too much of a crutch, clerics letting people bleed to death because it's not that expensive to resurect them shouldn't happen.
On the warhammer front. I find myself wanting to paint up another few dreadnaughts, they just look so good when they're done. But I really should paint the rest of the guys I already have first. Did 24 guns the other night, definitely going to need to paint a tank or something for variety before I start on the rest of the infantry.
