Well my weekend was ok I guess. Started on a high with Anthrax on Friday night, who totally rocked - they're so heavy and so tight it makes me jealous.

More DIY sucked though. 2 weeks to go before my mate Jonny moves in, and I've still got a lot to get finished. I wouldn't be so worried, but I *so* need the cash right...

Well I did the I Ching for the first time in ages last night. Interesting results (no surprise there):

32 STEADFASTNESS suggesting a need to loosen the grip on the past, continuing self-discipline, and remaining subtle and adaptable, warning against over-compensation, changing to:
22 DECORATION suggestion a sign of sacrifice, enthusiasm for a new undertaking and ornamentation.

I guess that's a warning to react too...

Well time for a juicy journal entry I suppose, to see what kind of interest it generates. Kinda weird that it's easier for me to spill my guts to total strangers than to people I know... confused

So, part one of my current dilemma is that my long term girl walked out on me at Easter after three and a half years. She (allegedly) wasn't seeing...

Take a good long rest from the whole thing is what I say. The longer I've not had my ex in my life the better life has got (apart from a real crappy bit round March).

I like everyone myself... and it's only recently I've started to separate out 'Yeah I like you' from 'Yeah I want to get into something with you'.

All girls eventually ask what do you want? And 'you' is never the right answer at that stage. So I'm taking some time to work out what the answer is...

Changed my alias on the site today. I guess it might confuse a few people, but I'm guessing that in truth very few people are paying that much attention...

TBH I wasn't really happy with my previous moniker deaddeputy, which in truth is a legacy from another board, where the context means something to the other guys there. Doesn't really suit this site, and I...

That sounds cool as far as Demon is concerned.

As for VtM....most the games I played in didn't necessarily follow the metaplots that WW hands down. I like reading the metaplots in the new books they put out just from a fiction standpoint, but as far as game play is concerned, I'm all for strict Cammy political intrigue SL's.

Well, the funny thing is, Jonathan davis looks like my ex also. More so than you I have to say. But whatever.

More and more lately I have been having De Ja Vu's all over the place. I remember having dreams when I was a little girl and they are now coming to life. But its not like a full blown de ja vu but almost an essence of one. I've had 4 or 5 this last month and I know when we are going to have earthquakes because I dream about them days before hand. So would that be a form of divination?

Well I signed up almost a week ago, and I guess it's about time I shared some of my thoughts. In short, the gorgeous girls get a big thumbs up, but TBH the rest of the community (so far) is a bit of a let-down. Posting on the boards seems to be a bit slow, with most people just ignoring each other rather than paying...

SGUK peeps are generally a really nice, interesting bunch. I haven't detected a clique, unless I'm unwittingly a part of the clique.
I haven't been around here long but it's all good.
come along to meet-ups and get to know some of the people here and you'll see that most of em are friendly and approachable..

it's funny but as soon as I hit 27 I also noticed that most of my mates became all sensible and settled.
and I never understood the whole marriage thing..
anyone care to explain what's good about it?

I'm not in the UK, but wanted to say hello and welcome you to SG anyway. It was slow for me too when I first joined. Now I am happy with the few regulars that I communicate with. I'm not one to try to make friends for making friends sake, but I am a lonely soul who appreciates connecting to "real" people.

So.... welcome.

Well hell I stumbled across this site by accident (no, really) and I'm pretty stunned. Intelligent, lively discussion *and* pictures of hot chicks? If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't believe it! smile

Well even though my spare time is pretty scarce, I guess I'll be back. Hi to anyone out there who actually bothers to read this shit....

come on in, the water's lovely...

yer right about X2, I had seen it before at the flicks but part of the SGUK meet on Sunday involved shopping in Camden and I scored pirate DVDs of X2, Hulk and Matrix Reloaded, so that's my week's TV sorted smile

Hey there,

in answer to your question I am not going to see Anthrax... Nothing personal it's just I haven't got much of a life at present and am about as connected as an ITV Digital Box biggrin

If you're going have a good time. And... erm... see you around I guess.
