Well the blue funk that started setting in when I got back at the beginning of the week has no sign of relenting. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I haven't been out all week, and I'm as skint as a very skint thing indeed right now...
At least I've managed to get the house fairly straight so I don't have to worry about that as much now. My old mate Jonny should be moving in finally on Sunday, which should provide some urgently needed comedy relief for my otherwise dull life.
It's my mum's belated wedding bash on Saturday too, although she's asked me to take care of the sound setup and the music (even though I have no idea about either) so I'm not sure how much I'm going to enjoy it.
Some trepidation regarding tonight as well, which brings me back to part 2 of the personal dilemma I mentioned a while back. Should be going over to see a girl I used to know from sixth form. Ran into her at a sci-fi con a couple of months ago and things ended up getting rather drunken and physical, which in itself is no bad thing. We've met up a few times since with similar results. I guess I'm not sure if that's *really* what I need given the emotional rollercoaster I've been hanging onto for the last nine months or so. I guess I'm mainly worrying as well because a) I'm not entirely sure what her expectations are, and b) I'm nore sure if there's any spark there worth pursuing if she wants to take if further. My bad I guess for not drawing a line in the first place? [shrugs] Hell I could *really* do with a friend *and* some fun about now, even if I can't handle much more. Goddamn why are things never simple
