We got a horrid phone call last night.
A friend of ours back home, the drummer for the bands (A)PE and Nero in my profile, was killed on Sunday.j He was hit by a truck while riding his bike in Portland. The guy that hit him took off, and didn't even stop. Next thing the two people with him knew, our friend was dead.

Chris was one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. He was a perfect example of all things beautiful, and he symbolized to me what a human being should be. I never really told him, but I really looked up to him. Always confronting life with a smile ear to ear, hippie dancing to hardcore, while "punks" try and push there way around him and into the pit. Him just smiling, smiling, smiling. He was an expert on bio-diesel, a wonderful drummer, and knew all things green. Taught us to pick locks to dumster dive, always trying to push his latest dumster concocktion on people giggling while they shivered.

Chris we'll miss you! We love you! And the world took you to soon!!!!
