It's fucking weird getting threatened. You never really get completely use to it, no matter how often it happens.
Yesterday we went, a small group of us, and decided to have a radical contingent at the Cheney visit to Eugene. In the middle of it, this fat rich, white republican attacks us. Threatens me directly, saying "you have no idea how small this town really is boy, watch your back."
I know this fuck, I've seen him several times, and he in no way scares me. But, fuck I hate getting death threats!!!!!!
It's amazing how much hate is in this fucking world right now. It's hard not to feel defeated...
...no wonder so many fucking people are apathetic about shit.
Anyways just have to gear up for the next event and stay strong.

I agree with everything you said and thank you for saying it.I refuse to buy clothing made in sweatshops, and it severeley limits my options. But I think personal boycotts can be very effective. Even more important, perhaps, is making sure that you spend your money in the right places. If we create a demand for sweatshop free environmentally friendly etc products, corporations will be forced to supply. They are, after all, just after that bottom line.
