I can't remember if I posted anything about my little project called The Wandering Library on here, but If I did, it was probably before I had friends on here. *shrug*

I have been cultivating a project in my mind for the past little while, and I think I will be able to begin it this new year.

You see, I have a great love for books and reading of all kinds. I don't think people read enough, and I don't think the general populous is aware of enough good authors, and I don't think that reading is a priority for the underprivileged, even though I think it should be.

As such, I will be beginning a non-profit program called "The Wandering Library"

I will purchase used books of various genres, of authors I enjoy, and others recommend. In the cover of said books, I will put the creed of the Wandering Library

"Take this book.
Read it.
Pass it on."

I will be placing books all around Vancouver at random, and occasionally setting up shop for a day or two during the month and giving out books to people who want them. My hope is to get this city reading and sharing books.

I'm looking for someone to design a website or something for me once I register a URL, hopefully with a paypal account or something if people want to donate. Book donations would also be welcome.

Well, that was a repost of the info, so here is an update!

I'm going book shopping on Saturday, so if anyone wants to donate any books or wants to tag along, drop me a line!

If the weather is good, next Saturday I will be setting up shop on the VAG steps.
