I just got back from a screening of an absolutely awesome new Finnish movie called Rare Exports. A dark tale based on the Finnish legends of Santa. While not a slasher movie by any means, it is very dark and suspenseful, but at the same time very, very funny. It opens up in the US in limited release on Christmas Eve, those of you in Chicago should get to the Music Box and watch this film. You will not regret it.
(And I didn't link to the trailer because it gives away some of the best parts of the film. I went into it knowing nothing about the film. That's how you should go too. Trust me. You won't regret it.)
