Does not exist
And I believe them
But every year
They seem to find
Something
Usually deep in the mind
Of the Congo
Footprints
Or spoor
Bones that might be
More than
Merely stone
True
Artifacts
That dinosaur Poetry

They tell me
And truly
I believe them
But every year
Every expedition
Finds me
Deep within
My camera
At the ready.
