Two days of eating much healthier. Today at work, instead of a roast beef sub, bag of chips, kitkat, soda or gatorade and either a plum or some raspberries...I brought a Turkey sub, cherries, baby carrots, plum and jug of water.
I ate the whole ziploc of carrots, then went to enter it into my "Lose it" phone app...and it was 94 calories. Haha. I...

Good day today.
Did my yoga. 15 minutes of the 20 minute work out. I will get all the way through it, but it will take some time. I am VERY out of shape and have to be careful.
We went shopping as well, while hungry...and didn't buy anything bad.
Small victories.
Dinner is Quorn "Chicken" patties...salad, and veggies with lowfat french onion dip.

As a person who has helped 3 patients go from >300 lbs to <150lbs I can tell you that it is all in mild, simple PT exercise 3x a day (takes 5 minutes), regular fitness walks (3x a week or more) and about 1500 calories of healthy foods every day, with one 100 calorie snack a day. Oh, and don't eat after 7pm. You are TOTALLY capable of doing it and if you need an encourager I can totally do that for you!
Don't try to rush into it or overdo it or you'll burn out and relapse. I have faith in you because your blogs and messages have been so full of honesty and quality. I truly believe you are one of those who has the full ability to kick ass!
So today was supposed to be the class of 2002 reunion. I am class of 2000, but most of my friends i high school were 2002.
So they decided they were having their own picnic type thing...but to be honest...in the 12 years since I graduated, we have all grown apart and I did not want to go...so I told them I couldn't.
Last thing...

Sometimes you need a little kick in the pants to get things moving. Maybe this was yours.

Haha! My replay is the same! I could definitely have a fun time with that sexy girl.
Awesome trade, congratulations! I too am interested to see what that snake turns out for you. Have everything settled from your move yet? The animals must have been the biggest bitch of all, at least it forces you to clean everything that is easily avoided, that's how it usually works out for me anyways.

Ok...the background check got a little less frustrating. I don't actually have to drive the items the 30 minutes to them. I can scan them on my computer and email them. That makes it easier.

Modern technology ftw
This background check is starting to get annoying...
They want me to bring in a copy of my credit report...which they could easily get online...
a copy of my high school diploma and college degree...so now I have to have my mom dig out my high school diploma...
and copies of any kind of certifications that would help me...which LT. Walsh already took copies of...

Wow. That's a lot of ball busting! Um, what would they be like to work for if they do this to get hired?
artfulodin:
I've been waiting to hear about this gig... and honestly this is crap. Sorry, man, this is just beyond bullshit.
I hope they soon realize how cool you are! (and thus hire you)

Oh what beauties they are! I bet you are so proud, you should be. My favorite is the firefly
nene:
They have such adorable little faces! LOVE the firefly.
So I just rewatched "The Innkeepers" because Ti West sent me a copy...
and you know what...the movie kinda irritates me a bit. He made the character based on me seem like a lazy loser who has no ambitions other than to work at the shit hole hotel...
I admit...this job sucks...but it pays the bills and I am constantly on the look for something...

well you seem awesome to me. I would make you the awesome guy in my movie that takes shots with me and talks about comics and attempts to light things on fire with me.
It's stories like THIS that make me sometimes want to believe in some sort of higher power...because seriously...SOMEONE or SOMETHING must have had it out for that kid.

if i might give a tip, don't reduce your calories so drastically. eating healthy, reasonable portions is the key, along with physical activity. i say this not because i'm making assumptions about your self control, but because we're all more more likely to give in to cravings if you've suddenly restricted your diet. don't starve yourself, your goal is to be healthy
you're using technology to help you, and you've begun a workout regimen. you're making some great choices and i'm inspired!
