"New" car.
I got a 97 Legacy wagon. 105K on it, rust free...MINT condition and best part...2.2L engine, with a new timing belt.
This car will run like a beast for 70K before I need to change the belt again.

Awesome.

You know what kinda pisses me off?
People who try to undermine your little victories.
A dude at work asked why I was in such a good mood and I told him I got a new car. He asked what kind, so I told him a 97 Legacy. He makes this snide "new car" comment and rolls his eyes.
Fuck you dude. Not everyone WANTS a 2013 fiberglass car. God forbid I like to take older cars with character and style to them. This car has a story. This is recycling at it's best.
This car easily has another 10 years in it if treated well, and so it's a teenager? I like it, and you can kiss my ass.

It's like people who refuse to adopt older dogs or cats. Fuck them.
We adopted Tommy because he was 8 years old and if he went to a shelter, he was doomed.
He is an awesome fucking cat.
New is not always better.
